Yes its true I'm a newbie, and as such I have absolutly no idea what I'm on about. Here's my question:
Is it possible to back-up several of my psx games to a single dvd with some sort of boot loader, so that I can play them on my ps2 (chipped with matrix infinity v1.33). If this is possible what programs should I use and how is it done?? is there some sort of guide somewhere as I have looked everywhere and cannot find any info. Also can you do this on a cd-r if the games are small enough?
I already done a search for multi-game dvd's (with this sites search function and google) and it got me nothing. Maby you could point me to these magical posts or tell me exactly what I should be searching for. If everybody around here is as friendly as you I dont think i'll be here for long :grrrr:
this may help you out, but it wont work on ps1 games, just ps2 dvd rips, there are a few threads on here about this
use the search and type 3/4 and search the consoles bit, there is a link there, but it just says ps1 games cannot be done on multiple discs

next time you help this guy out, it aint very nice having one post saying that is it? he is new and may not know where the search function is, give him the guidance to find it and utilise it, you were new not long back

Thanks heaps for your help, looks like its pretty unstable if you do manage it. Think i'll just go buy a better spool of cd-r's and back-up my psx games the old fasioned way. just thought it would be better to have a few on a dvd therby easing the strain on my v12 laser even though its got the fix I still dont trust it 100% and my mate wants my old chipped ps1
