my friend asked me if I could back up his "Gangs of New York", and I said "no problem". But the issue is that the movie is splitted in 2 discs! and he wants the movie on one disc, and the special features on another disc! how do I put the two parts together on one disc?

You can join them together using DVD Shrink there is a guide at my site that shows you how (link in my sig) I wouldn't recommend it for a movie that size though you will no doubt lose some quality, but you can try if you want to see how it goes..
