BEST Modchip right now

Hello. What is the BEST modchip right now? I want something that after installed it plays EVERY SINGLE game I put in.
I am going to backup
FFX, FFX-2
MGS 3
Burnout 3
Jack 3
Onimusha 3
Splinter cell 3
etc.
I was also looking at Swap Magic 3.6 but I hear it has some bugs. I would like to not have to install a modchip, but first I need to know if it will work with every single game I thorw at it. Thank you verry much.
A quick answer will be much appreciated.

i`m using Swap Magic 3.6 and i have over 30 game backed up using Fuji DVD and never had a single so far... so i would recommend you to use swap magic if you don`t want to alter your PS2 for warranty

Do you by any chance have MGS3? I REALLY want to know if it'l work with that game. I wish there was a list of games that 3.6 is compatible with.

I have MGS3 and it doesnt load with Swap Magic 3.3 I have to use DVD Loader in order for it to work. And the best modchips out there that can play every single backup even DVD9(double layer games) are the DMS4 Pro or Matrix Infinity. I heard that you can add new features to them using just a cd-r and you can even play DVD9 games with it.

MGS3 works perfectly nothing else needed using SM2.0!!!!
if you have problems with it using 3.6 try special boot

For some people it works and for some people not. I would reccomend getting a modchip. Get a DMS4 Pro or Matrix Infinity and everything should go ok.

hm..... So there are 2 different things.
1: DMS4 = 80$ canadian, and I will be able to play all
2: Swap Magic 3.6 = 25$ canadian, and I MIGHT not be able to play some games.
with the DMS 4, will I be able to play games that come out next year, like FFXII? And do I have to constantly update my Swap Magic as new games come out? I am just trying to figure out which is more worth it. Oh, if I do get the DMS 4 I will get the soterless one.
Thank you for your help. you guys have been of a lot of help so far.

I WOULD PERSONALLY RECOMEND DMS4 EZI YOU CAN INSTALL IT VERY EASILY BUT IF YOU HAVE FRIENDS WHO HAVE MODDED THERE PS2'S BEFORE ASK THEM TO COME ROUND AND SUPPERVISE AND HELP YOU. I HAD DMS4 LITE EZI AND ENDED UP BREAKING MY PS2 AFTER BREAKING THE FAN CABLE AND THAT LED INTO A DOWNWARDS SPIRAL. I THEN BROUGHT A NEW PS2 AND GOT SWAP MAGIC AS I DID NOT WANT TO BRAKE MY PS2 AND IT IS RELATIVLY EASY TO USE BUT ANNOYING. DMS4 HAS SO MANY MORE OPTIONS TO OFER IT PLAYS DVD9 ALL REGION DVDS .ELFS AND YOU CAN UPDATE IT VERY EASY YOU CAN ALSO FORCE PAL AND OTHER THINGS IT IS BY FAR THE BETTER OPTION IT JUST DEPENDS ON IF YOU WANT TO VOID THE WARRENTY AND GO INSIDE BUT THERE ARE MANY GOOD TUTORIALS ON HOW TO DO THIS. HOPE I WAS SOME HELP.

Thank you for the help guys. I now think I wan to get a DMS 4. However, I can only find it for around 70$ us. Does anybody have a cheeper site? I want to get the Easy one without sottering. thank you again. you guys have been a world of help.

Why dont you get the Matrix Infinity scince it is cheaper. I know a place where you can get it for like $55 US and the DMS4 Pro like $60 US. But yea either that or Swap Magic, Ill go with a DMS4 Pro or Matrix Infinity. Ill try to find the site and post it. Good Luck.

dms 4 pro ezi. i have it and i havent had a single game that wont boot, but MAKE SURE you download toxic bios 2.0 if u get lite or toxic os .2 if u get pro!! I cannot stress this enough! u need the bios to boot backups and DO NOT get os .3 or bios 3 since it has bugs. Yea if you have a v5-v11 ps2 then get dms 4

Dude..dont bother wasting time with all that Bs, go and buy/install the "Matrix Infinity" modchip", no swaping, no coding,no Bs,straight up, if u cant get hold of one, you may have to send ya ps2 to Australia, or Newzealand, they install it for $160, its legal over their, the modchip plays everything, works like normal ps2 should, sometimes even better. BE SMART "GET A MODCHIP!"

DMS4 Pro and Matrix Infinity are the 2 best chips out right now. Both have flash upgrades which is great because the company can release a flash you download for free and upgrade your chips features.
I have the DMS4 Pro myself and love it, bought a premodded system with the Summone laser fix. http:www.xmodd.com
If you get the DMS4 Pro you will need to download the flash (ToxicOS)
at http://web02063.prolocation.net/phpBB2/index.php
and if you can't solder then you may want to look into the DMS4 EZI solderless which does everything the soldered in types do.
