Hi guys, need some urgent help here please. I've downloaded this PS2-Romance_of_the_Three_Kingdoms_X_USA_DVDFull game. The problem is when I enter the password to unrar this winrar, there are lot ptc-r3kx files appeared. I haven't got any idea how to burn these files to an image. Would you guys anyone experience or expert about this matter please kindly reply to me? Many thanks :)

thats not a valid extension. If you look at it, it looks like ptc is probably the person who put out the file in the first place, and r3kx is Romancing 3 Kingdoms X. Make sure you that you're actually viewing the file extension when you look at the file. If there are a bunch of them, its possible the guy put rar files inside the rar file. Other than that, I really dont know. Take a screenshot and post it and it might give a better idea of what you're talking about.

how many files have you got???...3,4?
i am guessing they are another set of GI files.
it must have some sort of extension at the end, like iso,gi,etc etc

Probably game has been packed twice, so try to just unrar those files again. You don't need to unpack them all, opening one of them is enough since WinRAR automatically recognizes spanned archives.

Thanks so much for the help of all you guys here. For the info to " Hursty ", there are all together about 15 of ptc-r3kx files and some read files after unrar from winrar. I figured out one of them have to be ignored because the size of that ptc-r3kx only 2KB. So only 14 files with bigger sizes being used in this case. The weird thing is there wasn't any gi, iso or etc etc extensions at all.
For info to " p4_tt " I think you are correct. These ptc-r3kx files actually can be extracted again by right click and select extract. What I did was I Unrar the original winrar to a folder. Then I selected only 14 files apart from one file which is only 2KB(ignore it) to a folder (renamed it). From this new folder with these 14 files I only clicked to the first ptc-r3kx001 file to extract it. Then it will automatically form out an iso image. Even though I extracted only the 001 file but it actually automatically combined all the rest of the ptc-r3kx files to a single iso image which finally I used SONIC RECORDNOW to select that iso image and burned it. I even tried that game already and its works perfectly.
Hi " Demonkill ", Thanks for sharing the info on how to upload screen shoot images here :)
Hi " Romero " , Thanks for replying back.:) But I've already figured out the way to burn these image. Pratically of course we need to unrar the winrar to get all these 15 ptc-r3kx files and some read files. One thing I am not sure is, I think maybe I don't have to copy that 14 files to a new folder. I guess it should be alright straight away from the same folder to extract the first file ptc-r3kx001 and then it will automatically build an iso image.(Never tried this yet). Then from that iso image, it should be ready to burn to a DVD disc and ready to play in PS2. :P

This was exactly what I tried to tell you: Unrar the original archive to get another, spanned archive. Then unrar it to get image. It doesn't matter if you move those ptc-r3kx:***'s to another folder or not, WinRAR doesn't get confused if there's two or more different archives in the same folder.
