I recorded a phone call using TOBEST recorder and now i cannot play it back. The file is 85MB, so i am pretty sure the data is there, but when i try to play it in media player i get a "One or more codecs required to play the file could not be found" error. I believe the problem may be related to the fact that i inadvertantly did not properly shut down the recorder. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

It could be a reason but in that case you would get different error message, something like "corrupted file". In your case it's probably missing codec or something.
