You cant really go wrong with Arctic Silver.. U dont need a lot if u use it. Roughtly the size of a grain of rice is all u need. A little goes a long way. Too much and it has the opposite effect.

If u have the stock Intel fan on the processor then u are ok. you can do a lot better by buying a new fan. There are loads of different designs, but only a few that actually make a big difference.

It can be quite a nightmare replaceing your heatsink/fan if you dont know what yore doing. 1 slip could say nite-nite to at least £200. If yore not sure what youre doing, get someone who knows.

In some cases u might benefit from tidyinging your cables in the case as they can also create air blocks and channel air into wrong places. As nohelpme said, it is a little high and you should be aiming for about 47-50deg under a full load.

My CPU only runs at 28c and that's with a £15 fan that runs at almost 6000rpm's in fact the system temp is higher(34c). Yep you cant go wrong with Arctic Silver it's great and along with a good fan your temp should drop a good bit.

aye aye man
