Hey people i have a question i have low hard drive memory and i need to know this because. I downloaded a few torrent ps2 games taking much gigabit memory, So i burned the games with nero udf/iso to dvd-r disc just to back up the data on it till i extract the .001 file and burn it offcially. Can i still take out files from the cd put it on the pc and extract the .iso the pc and burn it for ps2 play ?

P.S. Sorry if its confusing i havent recieved my mod chip so im trying to save harddrive space Thanks

Edited & Simpler:I just wanna put the .001 - .045 files on a UDF/ISO disc and take it out the disc extract the .iso file and burn it with dvd decrypter

I think I get what you mean,

1.) You want to burn the .001-.045 files on a UDF/ISO as a backup (it doesn't HAVE to be UDF/ISO if it's just the data you want burned, it sounds like you're using NERO, so you should select the DVD Data Disc option instead).

2.) Then you want to extract the ISO/MDF file onto your hard drive (from the data DVD or the .001-.045 files still on your hard drive).

3.) Then you want to burn that extracted ISO/MDF file with Decrypter onto a blank DVD to play on your PS2.

If that's what you want to do, then yes, it is possible. And if you want to save some gigs of HDD space, you can always extract the ISO/MDF (whichever one you end up with) from the data DVD disc.

maybe u should just extract them, and delete everythign but the iso so that way u wont waste so many dvd's everytime u want to burn one game u have to use atleast two cuz u dotn have space for ur hdd...or just go buy a cheap external hdd off ebay and use that...i think i may buy one and just store all my games i load on with dvd decryptor and download...then i can just take them to peoples houses and burn games for them rigth at there house or something

I was going to say that, but since he asked if that was possible, I answered. But yeah it wouldn't hurt to buy an external HDD, eBay and http://www.pricegrabber.com are 2 good places.

Im confused With that ok i seen a maxtor 160 GB external Drive for $160 at bestbuy can this be put in the computer for more memory ? the confusing part is i was told in the past that to make my computer faster and bring more memory i need to buy those memory sticks at $100 for a 249 MB stick which is for data storage ?

The Maxtor 160GB external hard disk drive (HDD) cannot be put inside the computer, since it is external. Instead, it connects via your USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection. If it were to be an internal HDD, then yes, it would go inside the computer.

About what you were told in the past, I suggest to just forget it, it's causing more confusion than understanding.

RAM (Random Access Memory), also referred to as memory or memory sticks, does not make your computer go faster, but rather increases your virtual memory, which is always a good thing to have. If you want to make your computer go faster, you would need to upgrade to a faster processor (AMD Athlon, Intel Penitum III or 4, for example).

About the HDD, that is used for data storage.

Cool all my hardrive and Most of my Ps2 problems answered in One day! Btw I meant Internal 160GB HDD I think I'll get that. And as for the virtual memory I think i need that to i get those Warnings of Low virtual Memory But I dont think I'll be getting That anytime soon preaty Expensive. Lastly for the Main thread topic I'll just stop Backing up my Games until I get my Modchip to test Them.

Thanks alot to Everyone who Replyed and Helped great Site and People
