when i click burn, it asks me if i want a multi-session disc. By default, i believe it was selected for a multi-session disc. Do i continue with that setting or change it?

you need to select "no multisession",
otherwise the disk wont be finalised

thanks. ...and this may be a bad question, but is this method going to make the discs play without a modchip? or will i still need a modchip or some other additional swap disc or something?

In your opinion, what's my best bet with that? Do you recomend any particular swap disc or boot disc? Or non-soldered mod-chip? (if you recomend a disc of some sort, is there anyway to make my own?)

I also thought to ask about Flip Top Covers. I'm assuming that installing one voids the warranty (is that correct?). Is having a flip top cover and a swap disc a good bet? If I void the warranty, is installing a mod chip just my best bet? Any thoughts? Thanks.

hey kongchris, i currenly have Swap disk 3.0 and the slide card! They dont viod your warrenty as you never have to open the console to use them.If you are serious about backing up games and consider yourself advanced with computers, then id advice getting a chip, but if you dont have the confidence to mod your ps2, which can result in damaging the ps2, id stick with the slide card and Swap disk, there very efficent. All you do is load the disk, use the slide card to open the tray, but in your back up and reclose the tray and you can play you game.

The only problem with this method is that you have to do this method everytime you want to play a game, where as with a mod chip it can automatically load up the game.

on the other hand im not quite sure about the flip top, but i believe it does viod your warrenty since you have to remove and replace the top.

Basically in side your ps2 there is a sticker which says, warring if seal is broken warrenty is viod, so be very carefull what ever you do to eviod this okay.

Hope thats helpfully
