Anyone experiencing problems trying to back up movies from Palm Pictures?? I got the same problem on 2 movies from them (Dolls and Reconstruction). The problem is when you click the Play Movie button on the menu, it just takes you back to the menu. If you go into Scene Selection and click on any scene it just takes you back to the menu. I can stop the player and hit Play or the 1 button on the remote (both of which should play the movie without the menu) and I still get the menu.

I know someone's gonna say "Try to rip main movie only" but I don't like that. But for these maybe it will have to suffice. I'm really just curious if it's just me or what.

for that Dolls movie I used DVD Copy 3 and for the Reconstruction movie I used DVD Rebuilder and CCE Basic.

I knew someone was gonna pipe in with that main movie comment lol;)

I got the Dolls movie to play on my PC, didn't even bother with the other one. It's not that big a deal to me, I just thought it was odd that the only 2 movies I've tried to backup from Palm Pictures give me the exact same problems (and using different proggys to back it up too).

@ Squizzle:

That happened to me with "Primer." I took it back and got another copy that ripped and burned fine... Bad pressing I guess...
