Hey everyone, im new to the forum. Sorry if im not supose to create a new thread, but i needed to make sure i got some feed back on this one.

I have been making back ups of Ps2 games for awhile now, and i am very familiar with the process.ive sucessfully backed up alot of games, Including God Of War and Mercenaries. So im not a newbie, this question may seem like one at first. I have been having terrible trouble with one game in perticular. Second sight!

I have tried everything I can think of to get this game to work, at first it seems to be a simply straight forward back up, but alas i have still not managed to do it correctly.

i first tried a straight copy, which didnt work,I have checked for dummy files, i have even extracted and rebuilt the Iso, but still the game didnt work. i cannot put my finger on it.

I have gone over my Techniques again and again the burning process is perfect. Im on the verge of questioning the origional disk its self, perhaps its damaged. (Now you see why i back up). But everytime i try to load the game i get not a valid Ps2 disk.

Anyone out there had the same trouble with this game, or have back it up successfully please reply.

worked for me.i extracted the files and it came out to 1.27gb,
how exactly did you rebuild it?

i tried a straight forward copy but that didnt work, then i tryed extracting the Iso using dvd decrypter. I also tried burning it by using Dvd Decrypter Write mode, aswel as Nero. With no luck.

I then desided to try and rebuild the iso using Iso burner, I checked for Any dummy files and could noy locate and and then used nero again to burn it.. Still no luck, any ideas? This is the only game i have ever nnot successfully burned

when you extracted the files,it came out to 1.27gb,right?

then you used the dvd udf/iso option in Nero burning rom?

if that is the case,i wouldnt know what the problem is.what mod are you using?

Cheer for the help man, i finially got it working. I was doing everything correct, but i think my problem was that i was using to much of myt cpu while trying to burn the game, i noted that the Buffer keep struggling, it must have effected the burning.

That game should not need anything special. I made a strait up 1:1 copy and it worked fine.
And when you are burning games and movies you should NOT be doing anything else on the computer, and also shut down any programs that are running in the backround like antivirus software.
Anything that interupts the process can cause problems. It is best to leave all the CPU's usage open for the burning program to use.

Cheers man i got it backed up in the end, i learned that leason very quickly, it was foolish to have other progs running but i had work to finish at the time.
