I apoligize before hand because this has probably been mentioned before but I searched through the forums and found no adaquete solution.

Gran Turismo 4 - NTSC - burned DVD
Disgaea - NTSC - burned CD
The rest i've tried - NTSC - burned DVD
PS2 - EDIT: Sorry, not a fliptop, just the newer ps2 models
Modchip - Infinity 1.38

My problem is simple, when using my gameshark 2 v1/v2, select without cheats, ALL my burned games won't start, save for Gran Turismo 4 and Disgaea. Which I found really wierd.

The same goes for ArMax, all my burned games won't start except for GT4 and Disgaea.

AND same goes for Swap Magic 2.0, when just inserting the burned game and hitting start after a second or two it would freeze and the top and left border would show red. And like the above, only Disgaea and GT4 can start.

All my games can start up normally if I just pop em in and turn on my ps2 though, so I can't figure out why only 2 out of all the games i've tried to start with GS2v1/v2/SM2.0 actually start, I've tried at least ten other games, to no avail. I always get my games at the exact same place and to my knowledge there wasn't anything different in the burning process of the two games, other then disgaeas removed music and CD format of course, but that doesn't explain the GT4.

Is there some sort of GS2 code I can use to remedy this or something I have to burn or modify if I myself try to burn the games? Anything!

Thanks in advance

EDIT: I tried starting up swap magic with both GS2v1/v2 and Armax and they won't work, both just freeze up.

Only dead fish flow with the stream.

let me get this straight, you have a modchip and you are using swap magic....why?you said you get the games to play with your modchip then there is no need to boot them up with swap magic.

my problem isn't getting the games to start, but getting them to start with cheats, i tried enabling the cheats using GS then using swap magic to run the games but GS won't even run the SM. I figured it was my SM disc but even if the SM DID run with GS it wouldn't work since my burned games won't even start with SM.

There doesn't seem to be a simple way to play burned games with cheats apparently.

To make my cheats work on backups I have to use cdloader in between swap magic and the backup. As for the cheaters never win comment, your not helping anyone with your b.s.

Hey. Come on guys.

Im a gamer who enjoy playing games without cheating, however it is always handly to have cheats to use in some cases, for example a friend came over the other night and we desided to play Budokai 3, but when i tried to load all my character stats i had realised someone has deleted them from the memory card by mistake, so we could have played the game with no special moves and got bored quickly or we could have loaded a cheat and played with the equivlent moves we already earned

Get my point?

Besides, some people like to cheat other dont, its a personal opinion. Dont attack someover over it. Expecially someone new to the forum, where trying to keep members not turn them away.

I do not own a GS so im afraid im no use to you man, but im sure someone out there will reply with decent help.

Love the quote tho sui-cyco. "cheaters never win and winners never cheat"

I know about cdloader and dvdloader but don't you need to burn dvdloader on a dvd? or can it still work when burned on a cd, just want to double check before I accidently make myself a new coaster :/.
