I've tried to dulicate this game using DVD Decrypter. I insert the burned disc and I get the choice of the Memory card or the disc, the disc will not play. Am I doing something wrong, like does it need a patch? The DVD ISO Read\Write on DVD Decrypter has worked for me in the past with no problems.

Many Thanks
Dave

I have a V12 Slim PS2 with a DMS4 Pro and Toxic Bios 0.3 (i think) on it. I always use -R but this is on a +R, could this be the problem?

I had problems with this game too. I burned the ISO using Alcohol but the PS2 doesn't recognise the disc for some reason.

It's the first backup I've made, and my PS2 is a really really old one - will this be the problem??

Cheers

slims are suppose to read +r media.clean your ps2 lens with a cotton swab and alcohol.you have a slim so you could just pop open the lid and get at the lens.squeeze the excess out of swab then give the lens a few gentle swipes the dry of with the dry end of the swab.seeif that works.

i dont think modchips need patches to get games to work.usually you would upgrade your bios if games didnt work.

what is the game size?

The game size is only 3.31 GB and ive got the latest bios for the modchip (Toxic 0.3). Think im gonna have to wait till I get some -R discs and then retry it.
