A few days ago I downloaded a game for the playstation. When I openedn the file I saw 4 different files: .CCD, .CUE, .IMG, .SUB. I tried burning the .CCD file with alcohol 102%, but my modded psx2 won't even play this disc. Also I tried burning the .IMG file with Nero by first simulating with deamon and then copy cd to cd. However this time my ps2 only play the "playstation logo" screen and nothing more.
Please help me how to burn so that the ps2 can play ps games.
Can you confirm that you are using a MOd or swap disk before loading the game, and also what media are you using to burn the game with and at what write speed.
depending on which chip you have,it varies
but for example,i have a messaih 2,fitted,and i have to put the ps2 in standby mode(red led),
then hold eject for a couple of seconds....>the tray will open
insert game and press eject to close.it boots
so try different combo's like that,as some chips have different ways of selecting different modes
Yeah, if you know the type of chip you have just google it for instructions...it shouldn't be too hard to find...or just ask the person that installed the mod chip.
