Is it possible to burn gtaSA onto a -R disc??

Hello i got an
V9 Silver ps2
NEC burner
DVD-R arita 8X pink top dvd's
cant use other than arita or my ps2 gets destroyed
Matrix infinity modchip
Is it possible to burn GTA:sA to a -r disc
cuz im afraid that the loading time will be
EXTREME slow
and it will make a wierd noise like SSSS
and it will crash and says Error reading the Grand Theft Auto : San andreas disc
oh and im burning with Clone cd
and making the iso with Clone cd :D

Yes,
Download DVD Decrypter from this site - sorry I dont know the link.
Then go to the menu at the top and do this
Mode > iso > read = that will start the game creating an ISO file on your computer, save it to the desktop or some place you will remember. Then open DVD Decrypter again and do this
Mode > iso > write = and select the file it made the first time, set the write speed to 2X and once its done go put it in your ps2 and play. :)

My Gta SA is on a DVD-R memorex and i used Nero and works just fine.....so to answer your question yes you can..:)

the that works for me is i use the UltraIso ME www.ultraiso.com
to burn all my games and it works so far with any game i use the swap magic. ultraiso is premium software to create, burn, extract ISO/BIN
and also convert from ISO to BIN no need for .cue file fo try that
and also try www.edonkey2000.com P2P for all your ps2 needs.

Ive burned it onto DVD-R arita
....didnt work
it says Error reading the san andreas disc
and the loadtime is like 100000000000000000000 Min
:(:( what is wrong with my ps2?

are you usign a modchip or SW?
and it seams like a bad media file i had that happen on my outbreak file 2 and tenchu FS game but i did it again and had no problem.
and if you do it again try reading it at 2x speed and writing max at 4x.

well owk im going to read at 2x speed
but alcohol 120% wont let me! reduce my readspeed
its on maximum and i cant select any other readspeed
and with nero i cant go below 12X
and ive also downloaded SA once
and burned it on 1X
and then ive had the EXACT same problem!!
what is going wrong
gta SA and the urbz is doin this
well i readed the iso Max speed with alcohol
cound change it
with DPM
data poisition mesure something wierd
im going to burn it now i hope this works out
im burnin it with DVD Decrypter

The problem is you need to burn faster. Yes faster. Burn at 4X and you should be fine.

If that doesn't work try switching media to ritek GO5s dvd-rs. The only dvd brand that may not work with the ps2 ar any dvd+rws, and in rare circumstances dvd+rs. Aritas may be good for movies but they don't seem to like the ps2

I aint opening my ps2
thats really dangerous
if i use a Audio cd cleaner
would it work then??
PS: all my other games are fine and they dont act funny
like my last two backups
urbz and san andreas
but the thing is
should i clean my lens with a audio cd cleaner?
