I know alot of people have posted about slow downloads through torrents and they seem to have solved there problems. But it doesnt seem to work for me. I have a D-Link DI-624 wireless router and I am using Bit Comet 0.59 torrent client to download. I know how to open ports so its not as if i have no idea about the matter. its just I have opened the listening port from Bit Comet on my router and im still getting downloads at 25kbps tops. If there is anyone out there that could give me a hand I would greatly appriaciate it.
my email address is ....

If you have any ideas on how to solve my problem please email.. i feel so stupid not being able to sort it out myself. I would be very pleased if there is anyone that could help me slove the problem

Many thanks, Wayno

Dont post your email address in the forums please....

Forum rules rule 10 ( http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2487 )

10. Don't post your email address to the forums! Spambots love dumb forum users who post their email addresses to public sites and grab those addresses and you will soon discover the wonders of penis enlargement kits and other really useful products posted daily to your inbox.

back to your question.....

What is your internet connection speed?
Do you use a firewall?
What port/s are you using?

I have downloaded the latest version of Azureus and im trying to find a listening port. I cant find a good port to forward to Azureus because every 1 I have tried so far gives me the "NAT ERROR" message. Any ideas?

Although the download and upload speeds of the software have reached over 600 kbps. Thanks for the advice, the only problem now is to solve the "NAT ERROR"

thanks

Hi, I used to have a D-link set up with the DI-624, and the NAT just didn't work I'm afraid.

However, you could try the step by step guide here;
