ok newb here that doesnt know much about computers

heres what i have and need to know what settings the jumpers need to be on

HDD of 80 gb where my OS is on
HDD of 120 gb

and i can have 2 of these 3
i have a dvd rom drive
a dvd burner
and a cd burner

which 2 would u use and what should the jumpers be set on

question #2....when i was burning dvds i was not gettin any sound, the sound cable thats hooked up currently to my CD burner, can i just put that in my DVD burner and play sound or what?

question #3 my dvd burner and CD burner are being major weird, they wont read cds, dvds, anything really says please insert disk

any answers to any of these questions is greatly appreciated

oh and i forgot to add
what should by my boot order in my bios with my 4 drives?

I'll answer one of your questions. Get rid of your CD burner. Set the jumpers as master on the DVD burner and slave on your DVD ROM.

Also, you can probably take the CD drive audio cable and connect it to your DVD Burner.

thanks i figured i should use my dvd rom instead of cd burner

ive heard u put wear and tear from reading and writing with the dvd burner where i could read with my dvd rom drive

plus a dvd burner can burn dvds right

put your hdd with the os on it as master and your second hdd as slave.... make sure these two are on your primary controller on your motherboard... in your BIOS first boot should be floppy, then hdd, then cd-rom, which in this case would be your dvd drive.

in the bios put the floppy, cd/dvd drive & hd in that sequence so you don't need a floppy to boot off 1st but can use a cd to boot from
