im drowning in the amount of information that controverts each other on the net about how to burn pc to ps2 games and where to get progs and i have been searching for hours and still doesn't work.

So i downloaded God of War from a torrent site. the image is .iso and weights 3.47GB. Now i tried burning it on a dvd and the ps2 wouldn't take it (ps2 is not modded/chipped). So please for the love of god tell me how to do it properly cuz i've wasted like 5 dvd's already in different ways.

what i need is to know what programs i need (plz include links because i couldn't find in google any of them and if their not free then just tell me what their called.) Please tell me step by step how to get it working and what do i name the dvd and all that.

You obviously havnt looked to hard friend, it is easy to be thrown off by seeing so many archives related to ps2 burning.

First off, you need a Modchip or some alternative method of boot to ,play back-up on your ps2, (why else would they have been created).

Secondly you need to treat God of War before you can burn it. We call that rebuilding an iso, if you look around, you'll find a thread above this one dedicated to God of War.

I will not spoon feed you, but i will help you as best i can, if you want to get the game to work your going to first have to aquire more patients, grab a cup of coffee this is going to take awhile.

your god of war has already been rebuilt.3.47gb is the rebuilt size.your problem is you need a mod(modchip,swap disc,or hd loader)to play the backup on your ps2.dont even worry about finding a way to play the backups without a mod,so many people before you have tried to and came to the conclusion that they needed to buy a mod of some kind to play backups.

and you can download DVD Decrypter by clicking on the blue text.its free and is about all you would need to copy an iso image onto a dvdr.it has been discontinued so you better get it while you can.
