I found a way around the new protection by macrovision... You need to buy an ATI Tv tuner and put the protected DVD in a dvd player and play it as you are recording the movie to your computer with no copy protection at all then just burn it to a disk

ripguard is not out yet. it most be some other problem you are experiencing. do this, decrypter file mode to hard drive then shrink compress and burn with decrypter.

Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

as this is the first mention I have heard of ripguard one important question arises what is rip guard. should I be worried? ok that was two but enquiring minds want to know.

That wouldn't even work with the copy protection that is out now let alone a protection that hasn't even come out yet.
