Hi

I recently bought a PS Two, which plays burned movies (DVD+R) out of the box. Does this meen, that it will be able to playback burned games as well? I tried making a backup of an original game, but my PS just says "Insert a Plastation 2 disc", when i try to boot it.

OK too bad. I have seen a boot swap disc described in this forum. Anyone knows if it is available in europe in a PAL edition?

I got mine from them.. pretty fast too. Don't know if they ship out of the UK, but worth looking at the site.
By the way, other than a swapdisc, you will need to be able to swap the discs in some way without ejecting. Most people go for a fliptop lid.. I know the pstwo already has a fliptop, but you need to be able to do this without the pstwo trying to reboot on insertion of a new disc.. that's why you need a different fliptop.
Anyway, won't go into too much detail.. a search on here can give you more accurate info than I can..and maybe that site too.

yes you will need the boot disc (Swap Magic 3.6) and one other mod like an aftermarket flip top. You need something to go along with Swap Magic to keep the PS2 from resetting when you swap discs.
I can not say which other mod you need due to the fact that i don't know which type of PS2 you have (slim or chunky)
