I was wondering what is the best dvd-r media to use with playstation v10 with the dms4 e.z.i. lite? im concerned about playing backups without the romeo mod... i see that best buy has 50 dvd's for 20 bucks and they are SONY...i would think since they are the same company that made the ps2 they would be good media...also what about verbatim? i dont want to use memorex....walmart has good prices on verbatims..

Verbatim should be fine, never used Sony myself
Also TDK, Philips, Ritek G04 are good

sony doesn't make their own media. it's normally taiyo yuden or some other such manufacturer branded as sony, if it's made in japan. stay away from the taiwan stuff. that's normally CMC Mag and that is total and utter crap.
