Why does my Azureus shutdown automatically?

It seems that my azureus just likes to shutdown on me after a while. It just terminates by itself. I don't know why. I would understand if I am running a bunch of programs at once it would mess up but not when that is it the only thing running. Just happens randomly.

Do you get any error messages?

Be sure your are using the newest java version.

Im not getting any errors. I have the newest one. I just got it this month. After a while, I go to check the downloads and when I go over the icon, it dissapears. I have to re-open it, and find out by how much was d/l that it was only on for about 20 mins before shutting down. This is very frustrating since I have to open it and re-open it which takes a toll on my computer...

just a suggestion but have you done a virus check, could be something shutting the program down?

also check the configureation settings may have something to do in there, i dont use it else i would chek for you

You might want to try version 2.2, as I've read about many people complaining about various problems with the newest version 2.3xx.

I use 2.2 only.

Is this the only app you have with these symptoms?

Actually, i've had the same problem with limewire, but it hasn't been happening recently with limewire. I think it may have something to do with the java, but my limewire seems to work alright compared to my Azureus.
