I just made a rip of my DVD with clone and i also triede dvddecrypter , but the sound seems to be low and i have to turn my speakers all the way up before the sound is worth anything ...

I did a test to see whats up and i dl a atlantis eps and i have NO IDEA why the sound is so much lowder then my own ORG DVD AC3 /channel 6 Audion ???

Its just how the files are encoded. If you where playing them from a DVD they would get pre amped before being played. Try converting the 6-CH AC3 file to a 2-CH WAVE file. The stereo-WAVE file will be good and loud.

The AC3 file is encoded this way to preserve the soround effects. It lets your reciever or sound card determine how load each channel should be. (also if the DVD contains a stereo AC3 stream, it should be loud too). Some AC3 DS filters have volume controls.
