Hi, i have a couple of issues when connecting my computer to tv......can someone help?
Firstly i have a 7 pin s-video connection on my computer and a 4 pin s-video on my tv. I can get a picture on both and watch dvds that are on my computer directly on the tv but can not get a picture in windows media player. I get the player itself but when i play a movie clip it plays on the computer moniter but does not transmit through to the tv?.
I also have the ability to connect the computer and tv using a single RCA video plug, would this be easier?

When you say it plays on the monitor but not the tv, does this mean you see the WMP with the controls but the Video Window is black?

Hi, yep thats exactly what happens, i have all the controls etc but just a black screen inside the media player?

I had this problem too. I have an ati video card so I bring up my the video card control panel. Select the displays tab. You should see your tv and your comp. Then make your tv your main. You then will be able to see the video in windows media player on your tv but the window will be black on your pc. Hope this helps.

I went into options in Windows Media and turned down the graphic accelerator until the screen started showing a picture.
