Hello
I have been using DVD Shrink with great success to back up my Concert DVD collection, but i have a Question, Is it possible to create a edited DVD using shrink ??

What I would like to do is make a custom copy in which i could edit out certain tracks, and then burn a final edited DVD. Much like someone would do with a Cd.

I tried using shrink using the track / Frame start and stop feature and then I would encode a VOB folder to the hard drive, I would repeat this process for maybe 5 or 6 final folders but when i go to burn them with Nero, it only lets me load one folder.

I think it is because it sees the VOB files as identical. Am i asking too much for Shrink or is my procedure incorrect, or do i need an alternate program

Hi there,

Someone asked the same thing in an other post, and if I recall the answer was:

Create all your part in a folder:

Part 1 = 00:00 to 00:37
Part 2 = 00:39 to 00:58
Part 3 = 01:02 to 1:32 etc...

Then Re-author all of those with Shrink to create a Final Movie.

I think this is what was suggested !

You can always duck tape your kids eyes between those scenes :) :)

you're right it just would be easier to use the fast forward or next chapter button , But I am like a kid with a new toy and shrink Rules.

I will let you know how it works

I was going about it all wrong. I never thought to just to grab the Main title and drag it in to the Re author window numerous times and edit the main title down numerous times to start and stop at different points.
