I have Windows ME and I upgraded to windows xp recently. I had a few problems with this upgrade: I couldnt run msconfig and run system restores and I had something called protected storage that prevented me to go online. (I have dial up) After this, it would say that it could not find the proper dial up crediticals on this computer.. I looked it up and found out you could disable it.. but to no avail it didnt work.. so how DO you disable protected storage?
