Ok my problem is this. I have just Reformatted my HDD due to it being full and its been some time since the last 1 so i figured it needed it. Everything was workin fine before i formatted. Now whenever i play any kind of video on anyplayer my Processers percentage use shoots up to 100% and my whole PC slows to a dead crawl. This is no small bit of lag either its a major slow down and when I try to close the video player that freezes and I need to end the program from the Task Manager. It has never done this and I've never seen anything like it. I have gotten the most recent video card drivers and codecs for all the players to play the videos extension but to no avail, its still ultra slow. I also have the most recent version of Direct X. This is SO annoying and I need help fast as this is the only way for me to watch several of my videos as my DVD player doesn't play there format (nor will hardly any of it fit on a single DVD and they to expensive for me to buy as many as it would require :)
