My Limewire is Firewalled and I need major help.

I have a dell laptop with Windows Xp and Sp2 and For some god forsaken reason, my limewire wont connect. I thought it might be because i had Mcafee antivirus, Windows Anti-spyware, CCleaner, Ad-aware Se, and SPybot on the computer. I then proceeded to wipe out the hard drive ad reinstall windows (my windows Cd comes with SP2) and the first thing i did was take off my windows firewall, and download Limewire and again it tells me it is Firewalled. Im about to cry (not really) but someone PLEASE HELP ME =( thanks.

hey dude. are u sure theres no firewalls up? its very unusual for this to happen. this can be the only reason why it aint workin. but if u aint getn no sucess i say u shud dlod an earlier version of limewire. i have 4.8.1, hopefully, whatever firewall is blocking your limewire should recognise an older version as a different programme. peace.

No, It's impossible that there are any firewalls up, since i just reinstalled windows, Limewire and AIM are the only other programs installed on my HD. I dont know what the problem is because the other 2 computers that I have that are on the same DSl line as my laptop can BOTH go onto Limewire flawlessly... ZzZzZz looks like another booring, download-less night. If you know whats wrong, please help. Also, where/how can I get an older version of Limewire?

you guessed it. laptop says its still firewalled AND i downloaded the version of limewire that you use. sad. =(
