lets say i downloaded final fantasy X.the files are in .iso format.what steps do i take before burning it to a dvd-r for it to work on a ps2?do i need a modchip inside?or will it work without one?

I'm sure if you read any number of threads in this forum, you'll find exactly what you're looking for. But, since you're too lazy to do the research yourself, yes, you need a modchip or Swap Magic to get burned PS2 games to work.

If you have an iso, chances are you just need DVD Decrypter or Alcohol 120% to burn it to DVD. Search past threads for FFX, and you'll see if you need to do anything special to get that running.

yes with the addition of one other mod,
a slide card or flip top for older chunky PS2
and for the slim an aftermarket flip top
or slimtool or magic switch.
Swap magic alone will not work.
