Memorex CDs are so so... but I'd advise everyone to stay away from Memorex DVD-R.... they're crap....

is it good media or is it memorex.......

Maxell 2X-4X 4.7GB DVD-R

are Kodak DVD-R, Vakoss DVD-R, fujifilm DVD-R, Mitsumu DVD-R, BenQ DVD-R or sony DVD-R any good?

Yea Maxell up to 8x 4.7GB 2 hrs I've used Fujifilm but I can't find them in my town anymore, but they're good. As for Sony.... well, I bought a pack of Sony mini 200MB CD's and they worked really good. I have my IMBnes emu on one.......
