port forwarding w/ DHCP?

can i use port forwarding if i don't want to set a static IP? i'm the only computer that uses my home network so i get the same IP assigned every time (as far as i can tell)...

You may continue to get that same IP for weeks and months but trust me, it's not permanent. The only way to know for sure that you will alaways have the same internal IP address is to create a static IP.

Follow the link, select your OS and setup a static IP by the direction given. It's so easy.
