Unfortuanately I'm stuck with a dialup connection. I use Azureus and really love it, but my download speeds are pathetic. Normally if I use Kazaalite or LimeWire I download between 5kb and 6kb/sec, but with Azureus and some of the other Torrent programs I seem to fluctuate between 200 BYTES/sec and 3kb/sec. If anyone knows any tricks, would you please suggest as to how I can tweak my settings so that I can get the best performance with my limited capabilities? Thank you to all who respond. I greatly appreciate it.

You're not going to be able to get much more faster "Devil Dawg". The fastest I've heard of people receiving from dialup was about 15kb/s but all depends on the person you're receiving the file from.

For example. If you were seeding a file and I was the leecher. I may not get more than 10kb/s because of your connection.

To get faster, you're gonna have to switch.

Wow, I couldn't go back to dial up, I remember when I used to get a connection of 28.8 kbs and transfer rates of 5kbs, that was on a good day for me.

Now I average around 400 kbs transfer rates, but my up suffers at 90 kbs.

I would try to set your upload at 0 kbs, if you are maxing your upload your download will suffer.
