hi i have to ps2 v2 and v1 i backed up games many times b4 and they worked fine i was using princos but my suplier had ran out

ive used other media but they just dont wor ive tried

verbatim dvd+r
fujifilm dvd-r
tdk dvd-r

can somone please help me find a good media
ive used matrix and princos they have a whit cover
some games skipped and alot froze
such as dbz sagas

i would like to be able to back them up smoothly but something is wrong i have a lite-on dvd burner i bought it about 3 years and if possible i used nero dvd decrypter and alchol 120 which is the best way to back up a games and what discs should i use

DVD Decrypter is the best one i think. I use it all the time.
Nero is Ok, but i do not like it nearly as much
best discs from what i have read TDK, Philips, Ritek G04, Verbatim
I have used Philips and TDK 8X DVD-R with great success.

Try updating the firmware for your burner. That may help.

hi!!! ive updated my firmware for my dvd burner still the tdk do not work.... non valid ps2 disk..... im going to bestbuy to get a refund this is my third return lol anywayz im gointg to get princo but is there a way to make my dvd burn make more reliable better quality burns
um oh yea
im using swap magic 3.3
v1 v2 ps2s

i don't know anything about Princo's
I do know Philps, TDK, Verbatim, & Ritek G04
seem to work best for most people
And since you have a PS2 below V4 i think
it can only read -R discs, not +R
If you are getting a new burner go for a
Sony DRU-720A, they are great
I have also heard Pioneer and NEC make good one's
