im not so good on computer stuff so i'd ask some ur help.
i have an AVI file (movie) with its subtitle in srt. I plan to burn those two files but i dunno what program to use.
I have Nero burning program. Can i use this program to attach (resync)avi file and srt file together?
hi, did you get to try this yet ?. the reason i ask is i'm about to try this myself (had google searched to give you the link above but hadn't done it before). i guess i'll know the answer soon enough when i try it out :)
cool, no worries, thanks for replying. i've ,loaded the subtitle file (srt) into subtitle workshop (from that link) and have just opened the movie too. touch wood i think it's gonna work (it better do or all i'm stuck with is french or japanese audio, the same choices for subtitles, oh and arabic subtitles too :)
subtitle workshop isn't what's used (if you have an srt file and don't need to mess with any of the subs in the srt file) it seems we need VirtualDub. just trying that out now...
i d/l it and it will convert...also a lil' trick i've seen with the mkv files...is just to rename it(i.e. sample.mkv rename it to sample.avi) and it should automatically make it compatible for Nero showtime and windows media player..worked for mine...i spent about an hour looking for something to convert it with...it seemed like everything i threw at it wouldn't convert it but avi2dvd did...but i also just renamed it to an AVI file and it automatically converted it for me..lol
