Hi,
I bought 100 pcs blank dvd-r media, and it doesn't work with pioneer dvr-105, with nero, I read the message "power calibration error" what's this? When I tryed with DVD-RW, no problem at all. How can I calibrate the write speed for 1x, instead of 2x?

Please, help me

prob because you are using 1x media, which is the norm right now. 2x are just becoming popular. i have the dvr-105 also, and before you purchase 4x dvd-rs ($4-5 each) make sure you update your firmware or your burner will fry.

I disagree - am using firmware 1.0 on my 105. What discs are you using?? Look at www.bigpockets.com or www.blankdiscshop.com - they tell you which drives the media will work with. Don't be fooled into thinking that slower media that works with the 103 and 104 will work with the 105.

Best policy is to ask the vendor - then you have comeback!!

I am using the FWS 4x discs from blankdiskshop they are £1.39 each and work great
