yes it will work but you'll need to get a adapter converter. You can find them on ebay for a couple of bucks including shipping. Make sure you get the correct one.

What is the model number of your video card??

Your video card DVI connectors are Dual Link DVI-I type if I'm correct. You can go the link below to see the different types and then look around ebay or computer store to find an adapter.

I have the adapter but when ever i boot up computer with the 6600 gt v-card the quilty is very low and looks fuzzy. I'm thinking that the lcd monitor doesnt work with that card because it a vga one, (i used the adapter to plug it in)

2 different types of monitors do the same thing which points to a problem on the videocard. are there any jumpers on the videocard & if so, are they in the right position.

have you plugged in the power connector from the psu to the videocard as i see the female end on the card & if not plugged in could be causing the problem as it does not have enough power from the motherboard.

what does the card want for wattage because right now there is either not enough power or there is a problem with the card. can you try the card on another computer to see if the problem follows or not.

2 computers & 2 monitors do the same thing & new or old doesn't mean anything as can go at anytime. if bought at a store have them try it on a computer.
