You can try updating your firmware for your burner.
Most updates include new writing strategies for different media.

Hi there,

DVD X Copy and all those nice 1 click copier, they all copy/burn at MAX speed. You can't control the burn speed.

So yes, definitly buy the best media like Taiyo Yuden and/or change software.

DVDXcopy is old news :)

all those one click proggies........ try DVDFab Express....... that's a one clicker but you have total control over the burning speeds and I like the job it does! to my older brother who wants a troubless one clicker..... he loves it! no coasters for him OR ME!
