I've just got a new LG GSA-4163B buner and although simulations sometimes go fine, burning won't... except once that it worked which is a real mystery to me. Any ideas? I've upgraded f/w to A105 with no luck.
Here's the log from Nero.

BTW: Sometimes I get "communication error", soemtimes "writing error"
I've tried using another IDE cable (the one for the HD), checked DMA.
Thanks in advance

Hello,
I've tried your tip of freeing memory (although I already had done it, a lot of process were still present that I have removed) and done one more attempt. It was very pleasant to see the DVD being burnt (although at 4x).
I'll do more test later but I guess that should do it. I'll check also to increase memory. I just didn't feel the need for more RAM so far but that might justify it.
Thanks a lot all for your help.

Hi there,
Quote:
Finalize CD : FALSE
Always finalize your media if you wish to watch them on your DVD Player.

And yes, try to slow down the burn at 4x or even 2x.

That drive doesn't seem to like that media for some reason...
