you don't need that connector but you do need the square 4pin. for the usb, there should be 2 rolls of 4 or 5pins. does the motherboard manual tell you what pins are what as in vcc, +,- & gnd?

if each pin is seperate, are they marked as vcc, -, + & gnd as you need them in that order connected to the motherboard. vcc is pin 1 & pin2, - is pin3 & 4, + is pin5 & 6, gnd is pin7 & 8.

okay, im still confused about that one, but i have naother problem, when i plug in the power cord into the back of my computer, my 3 fans spin, and the blue light of my computers fan turns on, than dies out really quick, and when i hit the power button to start the computer it doesnt do anything, i think my problem is that there are 3 connectors comming from there, their labeled, H.D.D LED, RESET SW, POWER SW, i have no idea where those go where

Since you mentioned the pinset for mostly front panel it sounds like, It reminds me of putting my first barebones together and the wires from the case not exactly matching the pinset configuration.
I had to take a wire out, move it to an empty slot right next to it to make sure they all went together correctly. The connectors fit on the pins perfectly, but had to switch a wire slot to make it all work proper-like.

Not a fire wire really, the wires from your power button, HDD all that stuff might not be aligned right with the way the pins want them. You maybe possibly have to switch one around.

your motherboard manual will tell you what pins are what! i presume you got a manual with the motherboard? check that the cmos jumper accaording to the manual is in normal mode not clear.

well see ddp, i did look at the manual "which i did get lol", and im not sure but i was thinking its under #17 of the mobo layout which is the System Panel Header (PANEL1), because on the mother board where that panel1 is it has something written in small letters PLED, and under neath that it has HDLED, than next to that it has PWRBTN and on the bottom of that it has RESET so it looks something like this

*=pin

****
*****
[PLED] [PWRBTN]
[HDLED] [RESET]

the pled is your power led on the front of the case. is the connector a 3 pin, a single 2pin or 2 1pins & is the wires green & white? the PWRBTN is your power button from front of cases. the hdled is a single 2pin connector with red & white wires, correct?

the blue for the pled is + & the white is -. the orange/red is + & the white is -. doesn't matter for the power or reset buttons in how they are plugged in.

ok thanx for that part, but it still wont turn on, i believe i hooked up everything, but one thing that i noticed is fron the power on button there was this 4 connector pin that has only 2 connectors but has room for 4 do i just plug that one in an appororiate 4 pin connector comming from the psu, and would it matter that my front usb port and the other stuff in front of it arent hooked up, because there are many wires, for example some say "SPKoutL, Return L, GND, MIC BIAS, ect... they are all 1 pin connectors, and there are also 3 connectors that are together which say + Port - and Port + they are red, white, green, and there are 2 black connectors that are with that that say - on them

the red, white, green & black are your usb connectors. the others are for the audio connection to the front end of your case. the 4pin connector besides the 2pin to the motherboard coming from the power button, i don't think gets attached to the psu as probably no male connector from the psu that will fit it. if have all your drives hooked up than remove all power & data cables to drives, remove all cards & ram except for videocard & 1 stick of ram & reseat those 2.
