I'd like to make a slideshow of pictures to include as presentation in my new DVD.

I can't remember how to do it and which tool to use... any help? thanks!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY WAYS TO GET THAT DONE. Do you have XP? It came with Windows Maker. That can be used to make slideshows. Tell me what you have and I may be able to tell you how to use or make a tutorial to help you.

"CONGRATUALTIONS" I know exactly what you're going through. I'm sure you have Windows Movies Maker bcuz it's a part of XP. When you get a chance just log on to Microsoft.com and download the latest version. I believe it's Movie Maker 2 and YES it's free.

I don't know what the staus of your movie maker is and it's not a part ov Windows update. Just go to microsoft.com and downloaded the latest version. ;o) AND GET SOME SLEEP...

I know two tools can make slideshow.
One is dvdsanta, guide is here: http://www.topvideopro.com/burn-dvd/photo-album.htm
The other is photo to cd burner, guide: http://www.topvideopro.com/backup/photo-cd.htm

The former supports photo to dvd, photo to cd conversion, but the latter only supports photo to cd conversion. you might as well download them to try out.
