i did every thing u guys said and it still didnt work when i put the disc in my ps2 it said please insert ps2 disc ...do i need a mod chip for it to work

Yeah, you definately do need a mod chip or a swap magic/slide card/flip top case in order to play PS2 back ups. Check out mod-chip.com to learn more about what modchips or swap magic discs do. If you find out a way of playing back up PS2 games without a modchip or swap magic then let us all know and we can all stop wasting our money.
