Hello there guys,

Does anyone own this laptop? My brother got one and wiped it and now doesn't have the driver CD.

If anyone has it, could you help me out and share such cd?

Please, I beg for help. Trying to get all drivers from Dell is as confusing as trying to understand women :O)

what windows is it using?? can get the drivers from the chipset manufacturers which are updated compared to board manufacturer.

Oops, forgot to mention that laptop uses Windows XP Pro!

check in the device manager to see what windows loaded for the drivers for videocard, sound, netcard, usb2 & ide controllers

That's the problem my friend...

When inside "Device Manager" there are a bunch of missing drivers with the yellow signs! Some of them don't even have names, just a generic description.

but tells you what drivers you need except for the modem but that might be an intel.
