any 1 know how to update the keys for xp pro it started saying i have to make sure my keys r valid to update windows. it started doing this like 2wks ago. any suggestions how to manualy update them witout dele everything on my pc.

I had almost the same problem,I did a firmware update on my dvd writer drive and everytime I started windows it said I had 30 days to activate it before it would shut down,I called micro$oft and told them the situation and they just gave me another key.

but i got the keys from a buddy of mines will it still work if i call them dont wanna get cought using a copy?

That's just TOO funny...like a thief that breaks into a house then wonders what to do once inside. Call your buddy who is waiting outside in the get away car and see what he suggest.

And in case you were wondering AD is not a hacker, cracker, warez, pirate, etc. site. There are enough of them out there (I think I've been to most myself) but let's keep AD an information utopia.
