nero is burning my vcd movies upside down - help!

Hi all My problem at the moment is that I have tried to make a vcd using nero 5.5 - this was sucessfull except it play's upside down on my tv screen - any clue as to what I have done wrong would be welcomed.( No I'm not the uk rep for Australian film comp - down-under )& this is not a wind-up the film plays okay on the P.C.

Don't use Nero for re-encoding and burning. First, re-encode the file with TMPGEnc or any good encoder and then burn it as vcd with nero!

dela i downloaded tmpgenc the other day and it wouldnt open . could you email me at [JODIE DOES NOT KNOW YET NOT TO GIVE OUT EMAIL ADDRESSES]and give me some details on what to do after downloading a film from kazaa plz.i would be so grateful .

Well you have to convert it for vcd or svcd if you want to watch it on a stand-alone dvd player! When yopu try to open TMPGEnc does it just not load or does the file not open in it?

is the movie xvid if so try this
download ffdshow(cant remeber where i got it from sorry)and install
open and in side you will see the option to flip the file click on that then let nero do the rest
it will play upside down on the comp but will play right side up once you have burnt it.
