Hey guys,
When I demux the Animatrix with DGIndex(DVD2AVI), it outputs the 448kbps 5.1 channel AC3 audio file with a delay of -16ms. When I transcode it to MP3 form using Headac3he(using latest azid and lame dll's), the programs sets the -16ms value for me and carries on with the encoding process.

After the video is processed, I open up Nandub(VDubMod) to interleave the audio and video. However, I'm asked to input the delay value again. Based on the Copy your DVD to XviD with AC3 surround sound guide from Afterdawn, I input 128 for the Preload and Interleave audio everyXXX(in ms) boxes (if I have a 448kbps file), then I type in -16ms for the delay.

After all is done, the video/audio is out of sync. Is it because both programs delayed the audio? I tried inputingt 0ms for one program and -16ms for the other and vice versa, so it can be delayed only once, but the audio was still out of sync. The mouths of the characters in the movie still moves while the voice dialog stops a few seconds ago.

Do anyone know how to get around this? Any suggestions are appreciated thanx.
