The programs I've been trying for months now are
Bit Lord - I've downloaded about three PC games from this
Azuerus - I have a PB of 32KB/s on this program, But still haven't managed to get a single file.
BT Lite - This client is a joke, I haven't got past 10KB/s with this
I have also tried a number of sites
http://www.thepiratebay.org http://www.torrentspy.com http://www.isohunt.com
I have 1.1mbps is there any way of getting into the 100s
I have opended up the listening ports on each program
I have permitted them with Norton T'Internet Sec 05'
I leave my computer on over night to try and speed these well seeded torrents up but no luck.
Is there any other clients/sites that could get me PC Games and Movies in reasonable times considering my pc spec(check my sig} and Broadband

try registering at one of the closed torrents sites, and not one of these open ones
www.araditracker.com
www.bitsoup.org
rememeber though, these closed sites have strict rules which must be obeyed, none of these hit and runners are tolerated.NO LEECHERS
they require a 1:1 ratio

So you got to DL something then upload so you can download again?
One way of stopping leechers i guess,
I am downloading a PC ISO at 20kb/s from bitsoup.org things are improving..... slowly.
And whats this Exeem is it as effective as normal torrent downloding?

,
yes,i am on a 1MB,and get speeds of 100-110 kb's from these closed sites
but you have to be on the ball, and get the torrents at the right time, when they are healthy

My DLs are still really slow, bitsoup has slightly improved things by adding another 2KB/s or so.
Exeem has similar DL speeds to bitlord,
Do you need to change anything in Exeems settings????

Right then just been searching previous posts and went onto www.grc.com
It said ports 6881-6889 were STEALTH, and passed the Trustealth Analysis. My speeds are really crap, And I can't find the answer anywhere.
How do I open ports on a NETGEAR ROUTER tried the instructions on portforward.com but nothings changed. I would like to carrying on using Bitlord v1.1 as I have grown familiar.
any guidance is welcomed :>)

Comparison between closed torrent site and open one -
Torrentspy.com = average 20-30KB/s quite a good speed for me
Bitsoup.org = average 80KB/s OMG amazing speeds for me
Bitsoup doesn't have a good enough range of torrents, although it has 1000s,
Torrentspy very wide selection of my type of torrent, crap dl speeds
HUGE dilema, also when i'm uploading with bitsoup 1-10KB/s
and with torrent spy 20-30KB/s (set max to 30)
Is this normal?

J-kwon...I had problems at first port forwarding and such..but what i found best is 2 just disable all firewalls completly and leave computer idle. Also, use private trackers like araditracker.com to get amazing speeds (i get around 80-250KBs) for sbc yahoo dsl! But, what i hear now is that araditracker is starting to catch the MPAA's attention(bad guys) are are catching people so watch out.

Aradi Tracker does give me decent speeds but their selection of torrents is dismal, not alot happening with new PC games and DVD rips, also Aradi Tracker doesn't have many seeders alot of people leech.
Thanks anyway jbkid
