I am currently downloading a torrent and it has gotten stuck at 98.6%. I am using Azureus.
The size of the file I am downloading is 755.3MB but I have downloaded 827.4MB?????? Why?
I have left it for hours but its not going anywhere. The upload speed is going well but no download at all.
Peers - 75(4397)
Seeds - 0 (226)
Of course it appears there are no seeds but even so, why has it downloaded too much? Would it help to stop the torrent and transfer to BitComet, if so how do I do that?
check in Azureus for which pieces are going round and round, there may be a dodgy file that keeps repeating on itself, that may be the answer why your download size is going up
look for the one thats not 100%
make sure that DHT is checked >
tools>options>plugins>distributed tracker
this will allow Azureus to connect to other trackers on its database for the same torrents, and maybe find more seeds for you on another tracker
note:if you download off a closed site, its not a good idea to have this checked (DHT),as if and when you are seeding on a closed site and you are getting your ratios up,if the tracker goes down, other peers can connect through Azureus (DHT),and download from you,AND THE UPLOAD WILL NOT BE CREDITED TO YOU,just a little tip there!!!
of course you say there are no seeds,so you may have to be patient anyways,
but check first which piece is missing,as it may not be important
if its just a piece that you think you wont need, just tell Azureus not to download it,finish the torrent, and see if whatever you are downloading is any good to you.
