Hi All,

When I use Nero to write an audio cd, I remove all the 2 second gaps between tracks and write the CD.

In my PC it sounds continuuse like it should do. Same goes in my HiFi. But in my car stereo it plays gaps.

Now some people say its the stereo, it's tough. But if I can listen to original mix cds with no problems, surely something can be done!

Anyone ?

Did u burn from other cd or music from HD?
Try from other cd (if possible)

Have u try Clone CD?

what file types are you trying to burn to an audio CD?

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

When u have added songs to the neros list, then edit them and make silence 0sec. And also make X to the gaps between tracks thing.

FIX:

u cant do it to the first track...

okay, now I see your problem. mp3s unfortunately have a very short gap of silence at the end of each track. even when setting track gap to zero with Nero, there will still be a short pause in between. basically, its because its an mp3. do you have the original CD of the mp3s? if so, re-rip them to wav and you will have no problems burning. if not, try uncompressing the mp3 to wav, then open the wav in an audio editor like audacity and try to trim the gap at the end, then re-save as a wav and burn

Hi and thanks for the quick replies.

Yes I did consider whether that was the problem. What an a$$.

Ill have to go audio cd instead of mp3. Shame too cos it's mixed music and I would have loved to keep a few albums on one cd.
