Hi,

If you a rip a CD from the web, usually you get the mp3 tracks splitted.
Before burning them on CD, I use programs like Feurio or Adobe Audition to delete the silences among the tracks due to the cut, particularly on live CDs.

This is quite a long process if we want to do it perfectly, which means, you do not hear absolutely any click once it is done.

However, I'm sure there are programs which can detect the silence and delete it smartly without having to go track by track on a manual way.
In addition, the programs I use today (above) they do this by recoding, which obviously takes out quality.

I have just downloaded mp3 Trim, but it can only do this track by track, which my lead to the same result, but I'd rather prefer to have a program which allows me to select the whole CD and detect automatically the cuts (silence) among the tracks, delete them precisely and that's it.

Anything around that may do what I describe in a non destructive way?

The only real way to do this type of thing perfectly is to do it track by track and by hand. There are just to many factors. I use Audacity for track editting. I have come away with very professional results by simply zooming in on the portion I wish to cut out. I make sure that when I press play the first thing I hear is the song. Just like real CD tracks are laid.
