I guess what you need to do is update DVD43 with the latest version also sometimes you have to play the disc for about 10 seconds in a stand alone player (i use mplayrc) and then open shrink and rip.

Used I used DVD43 for a couple of days and was happy with it. After shutting down my computer for the weekend I started having problems. I was using Roxio's Disc Copier and would lock up somewhere along the way. I tried using it with Nero but no luck either. Used InterVideo WinDVD to play the movie for a few minutes and still it would lock up. Removed it, restarted computer, reinstalled it, restarted computer, and will still lock up. Just removed DVD43 and installed the trial version of AnyDVD. So far so good with Roxio's Disc Copier.

@babelfish

and anyone else that cant get AnyDVD to work.

I ran across a thread before that somone was having trouble getting AnyDVD to work it showed up in the taskbar but when they went to backup a DVD it still said it was copy protected. After gowing threw tons of stuff with him, we finaly found out the problem. It was a Spyware program that had blocked AnyDVD from working.

So if you have any Spyware scanners or firewall programs make sure AnyDVD is not blocked to run on the Spyware or firewall program.

I had problems all of a sudden with DVD43, crashes, freezing, meltdown, etc. I fineally uninstalled all my Nero software, my dvd driver and re-started from scratch. It now works fine. I think maybe there's too much stuff competing in that computer at the same time and it all starts affecting other programs, well, that's my technical explanation! Ha Ha, but it worked for me. I hope it works for you too. Good Luck

@nasja the problem part of Nero was probably In CD which can give alot of problems with other burning software also Roxio has a simaler Drag to Disk function that causses problems as well.

So In CD was probaly the part of Nero that was giving you problems. Its best to uninsatll that.

OK, I have tried both DVD43 and AnyDVD to rip with my I Copy DVDs 2 that worked fine with DVD43 until I bought it. Neither of these are now removing the CSS like it was before I bought I Copy DVDs 2. My fox and my smiley face both do what they are supposed to do, so I am assuming that there's a problem in the settings on the I Copy DVDs 2. Can someone give me any clue as to what's up? Thanks ~ Temija.

Make sure there isnt ahy program blocking the AnyDVD or DVD43 from working properly. Like firewalls or spyware blockers. If you have any of that stuff installed go into them and choose to allow the programs to work and not block them out.

DVD43 is "free", AnyDVD is "retail" - they sometimes don't get along well, and or confilcts one another. You need to run one programs only and disable the other one.

DVD43 works flawlessly for me, thus I have not even bother to buy AnyDVD yet. I suggest you uninstall both programs (add/remove) from your system and reboot your sytem. Now reinstall one program back to your computer (DVD43 or AnyDVD - your choice of preference). Now try it.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.
