I cant get over 20kbs on Azureus I have tried everything ports open on everything and have green faces but just wont speed up.
I have tried different programs and they are the same and using ports in the 60000's.
Please could someone help!!!

Do you have a router or are you connected directly in to your internet source?
1 - Each program will have a few ports that are listed under that program
2 - If you have a router and haven't forwarded the ports needed you will have bad or no connections.

i used to use Azureus but found it chewed up my computer memory...i now use BitComet which i love and its light on the computer...i also seem to get much better speeds with BitComet than i ever did with Azureus, but, its all personal choice on what works for u...

I have opened all ports and still no difference,When using bearshare I get 400+Kbs so dont think its the router do you have any other ideas?

Yep have read forums on port forwarding and am a regular visitor to that site looks like I will have to suffer?
Any Ideas what speeds I should get?
On dsl 512kbs/128.

Sorry, no clue. You just have to remember that no speeds will be the same. It depends on who you're connected to, how good there connection is, if you have your ports forwarded correctly, how many seeders there are...the list goes on.

I'll keep checking thought to see if I can find out something that will help you.
